We are excited to announce a new program in time for Earth Day. Lean 2 Green is a program started by the Chamber of Commerce that educates local business to start a green movement including recycling, water conservation programs and to become more energy efficient. All participants will be given a window cling to place at their business to be recognized as a green business partner and will be recognized at the annual meeting. If you would like to participate in this new program just let us know, or sign up online. |

Harrodsburg-Mercer County Industrial Development Authority

The Harrodsburg-Mercer County Industrial Development Authority (HMCIDA) is a unit of local government created to support existing industry in the community and to promote the area for new business investment.
Harrodsburg, the county seat of Mercer County, is the home of 8,161 people within the city limits and 22,024 countywide. Located in central Kentucky’s Bluegrass region, Harrodsburg is at the center of a 14 county labor market area with a total population exceeding 673,381.
Local Economy
